This relaxed area is about as close as you can get to being centrally located, without being right in the thick of the downtown mayhem. It sits due west of the Denver Broncos Stadium, and is bordered by Sheridan and Federal Boulevards.

Its name comes from Sloans Lake, which is a nice little body of water with a 2.6-mile trail wrapped around it. This is one of the only lakes in Denver where you can operate a power boat. The smaller streets in this area make it popular for houses as well as apartment buildings. As popularity is growing, more and more casual restaurants and shops are popping up to satisfy the residents.
